Despite being known too unlucky in romantic relationships, pop princess Kylie Minogue showed her new boyfriend Paul Solomons, British GQ director, who is 43, to be so different from all her previous romances. In her interview to The Sun, Kylie confessed that she was really happy to have the GQ magazine creative boss in her life.
Australian singer admitted that she really appreciated to have him in his life. The couple has been in relationships for six months now and they both share romantic shots from the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards on their Instagram. At the ceremony, Minogue became the owner of the Music Icon award at the ceremony, which took place at Claridges in London on Tuesday.
Kylie, who is 50 now, posed up with her boyfriend on Tuesday, as if they still the honeymoon phase. It is absolutely clear they are obsessed with each other.
The red carpet debut of the couple happened at the GQ Awards, while Paul Solomons is the creative director of the magazine. Kylie said that she was completely honored and thrilled to be a plus one, and this was absolutely beautiful. She confessed not to talk much about that side of her life. She added though, that she is happier than she has ever been, and this is largely down to Paul.
The couple has been dating since February, and they celebrated together Kylie’s 50th anniversary in May.
Minogue told the Jonathan Ross Show that it is going great and fabulous. She split from Joshua Sasse, her fiancé, in 2017 and had to postpone shows after having her throat infection not so long ago. Earlier this month, Kylie had to cancel her The Golden Tour shows in Dublin and Belfast. She twitted to her fans: ‘Lovers, I’m so sorry to let you know that I can’t do tonight’s Dublin or tomorrow’s Belfast shows. I’ve been trying everything possible to be well enough to perform for you but a throat infection has led to vocal strain.’
The tour is the fifteenth concert tout by Minogue in support of her fourteenth studio album. This autumn, she is touring her Golden album in the UK and Ireland.
This time, this ageless pop music princess born in Melbourne appeared in a sparkling backless dress with a plunging neckline. Her look was completed with silver heels and a precious poppy brooch devoted to the upcoming Remembrance Day on November 11. Australian pop diva looked half her age in her smoky eyeshadow. She was chic and elegant.
Minogue also was caught up with her close friend and music colleague, Nick Cave. Cave joked in front of the audience concerning the exclamation marks Minogue uses in her texts, while their amount is unbelievable. “It’s like the words are even broken up with exclamation marks,” said Cave, “Each text is like this euphoric, agitated thing. She’s brought the exclamation mark back into use. It was out for a long time because it was such a ridiculous thing.”
Other guests at the ceremony were Laura Carmichael, Dominic West, Peter Capaldi, Adwoa Aboah, and Keira Knightley who looked stunning in her pale blue Givenchy dress.
